F-14 Bureau Numbers![]() ![]() As far as I know, the below listed BuNos represent the F-14s that are left in active service as of March 2001. Only a sad 125 Tomcats (with 712 F-14s ever built!) are left in active service! With VF-14 and VF-41 having transitioned to the SuperHornet, the number of F-14As will decrease rapidly by the end of the year. Airframes from VF-14 and VF-41 were transferred to other squadrons that fly the F-14A and will replace older airframes from these squadrons.
